Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus vs Galaxy S8 Plus: Are they Different?


Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus was released in March, 2018, while S8 Plus was released in February, 2017. We have heard that S9 Plus does not come with any major upgrade in comparison to Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. However, that’s not true, because S9 Plus will have many updated specs.


First off, S9 Plus will come with more LTE band options. Speed is going to be improved, while its weight will be 16g more. Moreover, S9 Plus will be running on Exynos 9810 SoC, where as S8 Plus was running on Exynos 8895 SoC. GPU is also improved in S9 Plus.


Another upgrade is the additional storage option of 256GB in case of S9 Plus. It will also be able to take relatively higher resolution videos. Moreover, it will come with stereo speakers. FM radio is also going to be there in S9 Plus.



All this is going to be in there for a relatively lower increase in price, as currently the base model Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus price in Pakistan is going for Rs. 111,000. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S8 price in Pakistan is only slightly lower. So, S9 Plus will be a better option for the user to buy.
